Choose Echo, Slap or Ping-Pong, click the note value you want (or switch to Free mode for exact milliseconds), and the repeats land in time straight away. Then shape them with chorus, saturation, width, reverb, ducking, swing and formant without leaving the plug-in.

Turn on CASCADE mode and the echoes stop being copies of each other. Set an exact number of repeats from 1 to 16 and give every effect its own movement over time: echoes that get louder instead of quieter, spread wider, wash out into reverb, or open up a filter to build tension.
