Keeping the backing track and click out of the microphone is difficult when the artist needs high playback volume to feel the groove. The R1 isolation keeps the click track and percussive elements out of the mic as much as possible. Take a listen to hear the bleed from the X1 open-back headphones and compare it with the R1 closed-back headphones.
The number one factor in comfort is earpads large enough to fully surround the ears. Cups rotation and tilt is a close second, while the self-adjusting headband ensures effortless handling and a seamless fit from one head to another.
