Building on the implementation for Logic Pro, Nektar has added support for Cubase 13,14 & Nuendo 13 to their Panaroma CS12 Control Surface.

Panorama CS12 connects directly to Steinberg’s Cubase & Nuendo DAWs and works immediately with existing projects. You can control the mixer channel strip, select insert plugin slots and control any Steinberg plugin or hosted VST/VST3 plugin.

There are options to write automation, control parameters at high resolution, navigate the timeline and click to control any parameter (AI style). Panorama CS12 gives you the most extensive integration ever seen for Cubase & Nuendo.

Insert slots are selected via 8 dedicated RGB LED buttons. Hosted plugins parameters are immediately mapped to 12 color illuminated endless pots and 4 buttons. A further 4 display buttons are used extensively for page navigation as well as parameter control. The menu encoder can be used for additional control page selection, when needed, for large plugins such as Steinberg VocalChain.

All Steinberg effect plugins as well as over a thousand 3rd party VST3 plugins are pre-mapped, ensuring there is little setup required to get started. User customization of plugin mapping is straight forward using the Panorama CS12 learn function. Move a parameter and activate the control is all that's needed, with color selection for each control easily done too.

Users who work across many plugins will benefit from the selected parameter control option. Like the "AI knob" on past hardware, just click to select a parameter, then use either the motorized fader or endless pan pot for control.

The new Steinberg integration brings unrivalled control options for Cubase and Nuendo users, with hands on control of practically every aspect of the audio processing chain.

Panorama CS12 firmware and the ControlCore plugin control management system is shared with Logic Pro which means that Steinberg users who also own Logic Pro, can switch seamlessly between the DAWs without losing control.
