Conveniently save Mixer Scenes to compare mix revisions, and refine your mix precisely with VCA faders, all included in Mixbus 10!
NEW in Mixbus 10: Mixbus Pre/Post Sends
All 3 tiers of Mixbus will benefit from the addition of a ‘pre fader’ option on the 12 stereo Mixbus send knobs. When “pre” is engaged, the signal is picked-off directly before the Fader element in the signal flow. Any plugins before (above) the fader will be applied to the signal.
Every send has its own level control, and can follow the main fader’s pan, or can be assigned its own pan position.
Among other utilitarian tasks, the new pre-fader option allows you to recreate a popular mixing technique that was popular in 1970’s Nashville productions: you can build your mix balance on the reverb sends, and then bring in ‘just enough’ dry signal on the faders to give your mix that deep ambience you hear on early Country and R&B records.
Mixbus Resources
With dozens of DAWs to choose from, there's only one that is designed to work like a Harrison—with an analog paradigm that embodies form, function, and sound. Where other DAWs use a computer paradigm, MIXBUS grows from Harrison's distinguished 48-year heritage of platinum records and blockbuster films such as Thriller, Graceland, and Spider-Man. Mixbus is the first full-featured DAW with true analog-style mixing.
