Usynth BOUNCE is UJAM's synth for Y2K RnB, hip-hop and club production. Its patches take their cue from the sample-based workstations that defined the era, think Korg Triton and Roland JV-1080, complete with the slightly gritty character that came from low sample rates and tight memory budgets.

Like every Usynth title, it is built for speed: each patch is playable the moment you load it, and a handful of focused controls take the place of deep menus. Pair it with Beatmaker BOUNCE and you have matching drums and grooves from the same sound world.

• 100 synth patches. Leads and plucks, basses, pianos and keys, world instruments, strings and brass, pads and atmospheres, plus drums and hits.
• 100 global presets. Complete sounds with effects already dialled in, so you can audition ideas quickly.
• Smart knobs. Two global and three patch-specific controls shape each sound without menu diving.
• Sequencer and arpeggiator. Turn a held chord into an arpeggio, a bassline or a rhythmic chord part.
• Effects section. Multi-effects, delay and reverb with more than 100 settings.
• Surprise button. Generates a fresh starting point when you're stuck for ideas.
