You know the sound: punchy, slightly crunchy drums and glossy workstation synth patches that defined late-90s and early-2000s R&B, hip-hop and club tracks. Getting it usually means hunting sample packs or wrestling old hardware.
UJAM's Beatmaker Bounce and Usynth Bounce are two new virtual instruments built to deliver that era in a couple of clicks. They're designed to work together. Let's dive into what each one does.
Beatmaker Bounce: MPC-Style Drums, Fast
Beatmaker Bounce is an MPC-inspired drum plug-in aimed at late-90s and early-2000s R&B, hip-hop and club sounds. It includes 10 drum kits with mix presets and 25 rhythmic styles, so you can get a groove moving quickly. A Juggle control adds reverse and beat-repeat effects when you want to rough things up.
Usynth Bounce: The Workstation Sound
Usynth Bounce takes its cue from 90s and 2000s digital workstation synths, including the Korg Triton. It covers basses, leads, clavs, keys, world-influenced instruments, synth stabs and orchestral textures, with 100 synth patches and 100 global presets. A built-in sequencer/arpeggiator and a multi-effects processor are on board.
