Eligibility: You must own a registered Acoustica 8 Standard licence. This is an edition upgrade within version 8, from Standard directly to Ultimate.

The editor, spectral tools and AudioFill stay as you know them. This upgrade adds everything above Standard: multichannel and immersive editing, every Acon processor as a DAW plug-in, and the specialist post-production tools.

What Ultimate adds over 8 Standard

• Up to 16 channels (9.1.6). Instead of stereo, for full immersive and surround projects.
• 26 DAW plug-ins. VST3, AU and AAX versions of the full set, plus AAX Transfer for Pro Tools. Standard has no DAW effect plug-ins.
• Post-production tools. Extract:Dialogue 2, DeVerberate 3, DeFilter and six speech-specific repair tools.
• Full DeNoise 3. The complete version in place of the Lite module in Standard.
• Mix, drum and immersive processors. Multiband Dynamics, DeBleed:Drums, Remix:Drums, DeBird and Verberate 2 Immersive.
• Audit trail export. Export a record of the edits made to a file.
• Six months of Soundly Pro. Bundled sound effects library access.
