Violet Audio DX16B 16 Channel 3-Way Audio Signal Splitter

Violet Audio DX16B 16-3 Audio Signal Splitter Unit

The DX16B is a high performance 16 channel 3 way audio signal splitter unit with a pure path split. Featuring the same flexibility as its predecessor, the 16B now has locking XLR inputs on the front, and locking ethernet connectors on the back.

Primarily designed for microphone signals, the DX16B is an extremely flexible unit suitable for use in live performance and recording environments where split audio feeds are required to be simultaneously distributed to the FOH, monitor console, and or recording engineer.

Connectivity is provided in the form of 16 XLR inputs and outputs on the front panel, with a further 32 channel outputs (16 x XLR, 16 via 25-pin D-Sub format, or 16 via CAT-5) on the rear. The CAT-5 connectors provide input as well as output, for connecting more DX16B units for an expanded system.

Entirely passive, the DX16B requires no power supply. A sturdy 2RU metal chassis construction ensures maximum durability for the road or studio.
