Sound Particles Energy Panner 2 (Digital Download)

Energy Panner 2

AAX, AU and VST3

Energy Panner 2 listens to the intensity of your sound and turns it into motion. This panner controlled by loudness allows you to add fantastic life to your tracks without the need of automation lanes. Works in plain stereo just as naturally as in 3D audio.

Features

Panning Modes

  • Pan Mode — end-to-end, particle-based panning. Define a start and end point; the greater the volume of the input signal, the further the sound shifts from start to end
  • Sliding Mode — once the signal crosses your threshold, the sound moves along a trajectory you define — and stays there. Unlike Pan Mode, it doesn't return to the starting point when the signal drops; it holds its new position until the next threshold crossing triggers another shift
  • Multiple Views — Circular, Polygon, and Room views, so you always see exactly what's happening in space

Main Controls

  • Multiple Panning Types — match your origin and destination: speaker, point, or multiple custom points
  • Dynamic Movement — set the direction of movement, clockwise or counter-clockwise
  • Threshold — sets the intensity level required to trigger movement
  • Ratio — controls how much panning occurs once the threshold is crossed
  • Attack/Release — sets how quickly the plugin responds to changes in intensity, and how quickly it returns; link the two knobs for synchronized timing
  • Gain — up to 10dB of output boost
  • Dry/Wet — balance between processed and original signal
  • Sidechain — trigger the panning effect from an external signal instead of the track's own audio
  • Mixer — control the output level of each channel independently
  • Virtual Center — keep the center channel clear by distributing sound between left and right, leaving room for dialogue or a lead vocal

Presets

  • 25+ Presets
  • Random Dice — explore endless random patterns
