Simply connecting an FR-AV4 to a camera via HDMI enables precise video and audio synchronization. The FR-AV4 can automatically start and stop recording in response to the camera's operation.
Video and Audio Embedded via HDMI
4 channels plus a stereo mix are recorded on the FR-AV4. The 4K/8K video signal passes through the FR-AV4 and is recorded on the monitor recorder. In addition, the FR-AV4 allows the camera's audio to pass through and be recorded as part of the multi-track audio on the monitor recorder.
Cascade Connection via HDMI
Connecting multiple FR-AV4 units via HDMI enables cascade connection. This allows clock synchronization across units and makes it possible to start and stop recording from the first unit in the chain.
Wireless Audio Monitoring
With the optional AK-BT2 Bluetooth adapter, the FR-AV4 lets users wirelessly monitor source audio. Wired and wireless outputs can be used simultaneously, each with independent volume control, making it easy for multiple users to monitor headphones or speakers at the same time.

Very sturdy and useful
The cart is really sturdy and useful. It is also lighter than i thought.
I use this for my TV and also bluetooth streaming. It's connected to two powered speakers and a subwoofer. It was easy to install, has great customisation options via the app, and produces quality sound. It automatically changes source to the TV when it is turned on, via the HDMI ARC.
