The MP-800U DAB is a compact, full-featured SD/USB player with a built-in DAB/FM tuner, USB DAC, and optional Bluetooth® streaming; offering professional playback versatility with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs. The MP-800U DAB delivers flexible, high-quality performance for restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, and all other pro audio setups.

VERSATILE PLAYBACK

The MP-800U DAB offers multi-format playback via its front-panel SD card slot and USB flash drive port. Compatible file types include WAV, MP3, and AAC.

BLUETOOTH® & USB DAC MADE EASY

With the optional AK-BT2 Bluetooth® adapter, the MP-800U DAB handily streams Bluetooth® audio into any installation. Plus, its USB DAC lets you connect any USB equipped device - such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets - via the front panel USB-C port, enabling additional playback options like accessing music libraries on computers.

TUNE IN WITH DAB / FM

The MP-800U DAB features a built-in DAB/FM Tuner, providing easy access to radio broadcasts. Its dedicated tuner output, via unbalanced RCA connectors, allows seamless integration with any audio system. Easily recall up to twenty user preset channels from either the front panel or the remote control.

FLEXIBLE OUTPUTS

Equipped with balanced and unbalanced outputs, the MP-800U DAB can integrate quickly and easily into a variety of audio systems. With two output level controls - one for XLR, RCA, and headphone outputs combined, and another for independent tuner attenuation - this media player delivers smooth and precise level adjustments.

PROFESSIONAL PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS

Pro-level playback is at the core of the MP-800U DAB. Power-on-Play automatically starts playback at startup, while fade-in/fade-out ensures smooth track transitions. Auto-Cue, Auto-Ready and Incremental Play keep your playlists primed, Key Original alters speed without changing pitch, while pitch control adjusts both tempo and key.

Q-SYS CONTROL (INTEGRATION UNDER DEVELOPMENT)

Currently under development, the plugin will integrate the MP-800U with the Q-SYS Platform using the optional IF-E100 Ethernet card, allowing full playback control directly from the Q-SYS User Control Interface. Access transport functions, source selection, and file navigation through Q-SYS without touching the hardware, thus streamlining operations in many commercial AV environments like conference centers, hospitality spaces, and houses of worship. The official TASCAM plugin will be available through Q-SYS Designer Software.

It does'nt get any better

Celemony Melodyne 5 Editor is absolutely wonderful. this software gives you the ability to manually move notes to the appropriate key, and it can correct the pitch and timing at the click of a mouse button-highly recommended-regards John

Very sturdy and useful

The cart is really sturdy and useful. It is also lighter than i thought.

Does the job well

I use this for my TV and also bluetooth streaming. It's connected to two powered speakers and a subwoofer. It was easy to install, has great customisation options via the app, and produces quality sound. It automatically changes source to the TV when it is turned on, via the HDMI ARC.
