This mic captures dialogue very flat and without colouration which is my preference when capturing on set dialogue. It’s superb rejection also does not colour the sound, it attenuates it. The MMP-B preamp is great feature for a little high boost when using heavy wind protection such as a rycote blimp and dead cat or needing to remove any low rumble with is filters. It makes boom operating easier with its very light weight design. It blends well with my Cos-11D lavalier microphones. This is now my favourite microphone.
