Heil PR 30 Dynamic Microphone

The Heil PR 30 is a large diaphragm dynamic microphone for guitar cabinets, vocals, podcasting and broadcast. It is an end-address mic built around a 1.5 inch element, shock-mounted inside a steel body with a hum-bucking coil to keep it quiet near computer monitors and lighting.

Heil pitches it as a guitar amp mic first, but the wide response and internal passive filtering, which reduces popping and sibilance, also make it a strong choice for close vocals and spoken word. It handles SPLs that would trouble a ribbon.
