Mixing Night Audio Cascade Creative Delay Plug-In

A delay you click, not twiddle. Cascade replaces delay-time maths with buttons. Choose Echo, Slap or Ping-Pong, click the note value you want (or switch to Free mode for exact milliseconds), and the repeats land in time straight away. Then shape them with chorus, saturation, width, reverb, ducking, swing and formant without leaving the plug-in.

Turn on CASCADE mode and the echoes stop being copies of each other. Set an exact number of repeats from 1 to 16 and give every effect its own movement over time: echoes that get louder instead of quieter, spread wider, wash out into reverb, or open up a filter to build tension. The delay becomes part of the arrangement.

Features

• Type – dedicated Echo, Slap and Ping-Pong buttons, plus a Normal/Wide switch
• Timing – click-to-set note values, or Free mode in milliseconds
• Style – built-in sound styles such as Modern, Thru The Door and Shimmer, with global lo- and hi-cut filters
• FX section – CHORUS for vintage spread, HEAT for saturation and distortion, WIDTH for the stereo image of the repeats, WASH with three reverb flavours
• Advanced section – ducking to keep the dry signal clear, swing, formant shifting, and an LFO on volume, lo-cut or hi-cut
• CASCADE mode – 1–16 repeats with per-effect modulation and a Slope control for how each effect evolves
• Mix control that goes to 100% wet for send/return use

Where it shines

Vocal throws and ping-pong lead vocals, synced synth leads, dreamy washed-out guitars, hi-hat trills and rhythmic percussion effects. If you only need a clean quarter-note delay, it does that in two clicks.
