Mojave MA-50 Transformerless Condenser Microphone

The Mojave MA-50 is a large diaphragm transformerless condenser microphone and the most affordable model in the Mojave range. It uses a 1 inch, 3 micron gold-sputtered capsule in a fixed cardioid pattern, with transformerless circuitry for a fast transient response.

Very low noise and a strong proximity effect make it a good fit for close vocals and voice-over, and it handles acoustic instruments and percussion well. It runs on 48 V phantom power and comes with a shock mount and case.
