The YFX Japanese Grand is a physically modelled 9-foot (275 cm) concert grand for Pianoteq. It has a clear, singing voice with strong note definition from top to bottom, a powerful but controlled bass and a bold, orchestral character. It suits classical repertoire and works just as well on stage, in the studio and in most other styles.

Pianoteq doesn’t play back samples. It models the strings, soundboard and microphone placement in real time, so the sound is generated as you play and responds to every change in touch. The YFX also includes the latest soundboard refinements from Pianoteq 9.
