Rabbit Tape V2 puts a vintage tape machine on any channel. Use it for subtle glue and harmonic density, or lean into wow, flutter and drop-outs for a worn, lo-fi feel.

V2 introduces two distinct machine models, selectable tape speeds, improved algorithms and more creative controls.

What it does

• Two machine models (new in V2). America for a warm, rounded character; Germany for tighter, more controlled colouration.
• 7.5 and 15 IPS tape speeds (new in V2). Choose a looser, darker sound or a cleaner, tighter one.
• Tape saturation. Harmonics and gentle compression as you drive it harder.
• Wow and flutter. Pitch drift from barely there to seasick.
• Grit and drop-outs. Damaged-tape textures for lo-fi work.
• Custom filter. Shape the tone after the tape.
• VU meters. Classic level feedback.
