The Herd V2 gives you three compression characters in a single plug-in, designed for parallel use: blend the squashed signal back in with the dry for punch and glue without losing transients.

V2 adds Mid/Side processing, improved algorithms with a more refined compression response, and smarter gain staging.

What it does

• Opto engine. Smooth, musical levelling for vocals and bus glue.
• VCA engine. Fast and punchy for drums and transient-heavy sources.
• Devil engine. Gritty, saturated compression when you want colour.
• Parallel blend. Mix compressed and dry signal inside the plug-in.
• Mid/Side processing (new in V2). Compress the centre and sides differently.
• Attack/Release and extended tone control. From tight transient control to slow, breathing movement, with tone shaping on top.
